3 Forms of sermons are called Topical Sermons, Textual Sermons and Expository Sermons. I was in a class at Delta State Teachers College back in 1966 which had two speech teachers referring to these outlines as Patterns of Speech and Composition for written material. I simply have expanded the Topical sermon Outline into many more Patterns of approach at subjects used in sermon speech and composition writing of lessons.
