Page 1 Lost and Page 2 Hope 110418 am & pm

11.04.18….It’s a serious thought to be “lost on page 1′ of God’s Book of Judgment. If we do no believe in Him as we should, it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Let’s believe in the Son of God as well (John 8:24) and seek to do his will as He has written in His word. Another point made by Jesus is this one; if we fail to ‘from the heart forgive those who trespass against us, NEITHER WILL YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN FORGIVE YOU OF YOUR TRESPASSES (Matthew 18 middle of chapter and at the close). Plus, if we do not continue to grow in the Lord’s will, we will not be pleasing in His sight (2 Peter 2:1-2). Growing up in Him necessitates for us to drink the milk of His word and grow to be teachers of His will (Hebrews 5). Are we going to be rejected by God on Page 1 of His will?

Page 2 involves Hope for the soul. Romans 10:17 speaks of FAITH COMETH BY HEARING THE WORD OF GOD. There are those who do not wish to know about God or the Bible, but because of the influence of a faithful Christian (1 Peter 3:15) they tend to ASK A REASON OF THE HOPE WHICH IS IN YOU and we are to answer them WITH MEEKNESS AND FEAR (RESPECT). We hope that person will become saved and faithful (1 Peter 4:4 and Acts 8:22) because then he will seem ‘strange’ to old friends, but will also know of how to return to the Lord when unfaithful acts like Simon did are REPENTED AND PRAYED SO THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART WILL BE FORGIVEN by God. The Word of God will direct the pathway of life if we allow (Psalms 1:1-2; Psa. 119:105) and we will have plenty of light for the path of life. Some believe they love to read about the prophets: Isaiah told of the Lord (7:14 and 53); Jeremiah speaks MAN DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DIRECT HIS OWN STEPS. Thus, some are impressed that God desires them to follow His Word to Heaven (Matthew 7:13-14) along a path which is strait and narrow which leads to life. Receiving teaching is Page 2 for the hope of the soul before God. Are we going to reject this page of God’s Word and continue a path which has a wide gate and a broad way which leads to destruction ?
