Reunion Lawson Chapel Service 092919….Brethren John Staten, who preached the sermon of this reunion to approximately 75 attendees regarding Recognizing the Chains Which Bind Us as Paul was bound in Philippians 1 with physical chains yet he had a spirit within which allowed him to see beyond his circumstances. Robert Rawson led the opening prayer and brethren Logan and Alford led prayers for and served the Lord’s Supper to those choosing to partake. A teacher of Law and Politics at Freed-Hardeman Univ led the songs, Stephen Morris. What a treat to meet the names of those to whom I was permitted at times while serving in Okolona, 48 years ago, to visit and preach services at Lawson Chapel.
